Why are French Canadians so mean?

Im french Canadian and i have met many others who were arrogant and such...but it all depends on how they were raised... what type of environment they grew up and such.

I'm Canadian, but not French Canadian. Where have you experienced this? Were you repecting the language they live by? If you respected them, then they should respect you. I can't speak on behalf of anyone else, but maybe you were rude to them? I don't know if you're talking about your own experiences or things you've heard. Wherever you go in the world there will always be some rude people. I wouldn't say that it's just French Canadians, maybe just the people you met.

They dislike people from Toronto too. I dunno, that's just how they are. They're proud of their French culture, since it's been in danger for so long.

I really wish I could disagree with you and say that only a small portion of Quebecois are rude, but unfortunately it's a substantial portion based on my experience :(

They are upset that they don't have their own country. They think that since they can speak French they are the best thing in the world, well guess what you idiots, I can speak French too.

Because they're French....I have NEVER met an un-narcissistic, polite, or American loving French person....then again it could be just the fact they hate how obnoxious I can get.
