You are arguing apples and oranges. Two different styles of R&R:

Zepplin - My favorite, Close to 30 years after disbanding following Bonham's death in 1980, the band continues to be held in high regard for their artistic achievements, commercial success and broad influence. The band has sold an estimated 200 million albums worldwide, including 111.5 million certified units in the United States and they have had all of their original studio albums reach the top 10 of the Billboard album chart in the U.S., with six reaching the number one spot. Led Zeppelin are ranked #1 on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock. Rolling Stone magazine has described Led Zeppelin as "the heaviest band of all time" and "the biggest band of the '70s".

I'd say that Queen was more successful and has a larger fan base. Consider how many of their songs are well known to most of the public. Led Zeppelin is more talented considering Jimmy Page's amazing guitar playing, Freddie Mercury was more of a show man though. As for overall... I'd say Led Zeppelin but it's close and debatable.

If you're judging by commercial success, probably Led Zeppelin. Their music has been around a lot longer than Queen's. But as far as vocal talent, Freddy Mercury's voice was so much more incredible than Robert Plant's ever was. Guarantee that Robert Plant would agree. He isn't terribly impressed with the body of work that Led Zeppelin produced.

Well, a lot of songs by Queen are very well known, and are in movies, tv shows , etc...

But, fan base wise I'd say it's led zeppelin. it's all up to success :b

Wow... this question is totally subjective (someone already said that), but you could also get all the technical information off Wiki, like record sales, for instance.

They're both huge bands, they both played sold out massive arenas... One was more classical rock, the other more classic rock...

I love Queen, huge fan here. Never heard much Zeppelin, except for Stairway. I would have to say Zeppelin though. I mean, if my dad owns Zeppelin vinyl, then they must have been beyond huge.

Well, Led Zep had lots of success, but I'm going with Queen. They had more success and fans that Led Zep, and I personally like Queen better. Led Zeppelin is easily my fourth fave band though, right below Styx, Queen and Boston, in that order.

I like Queen but Led Zeppelin by far.

who did you vote for? ah its Queen of course. both have talent BUT (agreed with LIL Ø FFAFØ Word Wizardry ) Freddie's voice alone beats all of Led Zeppelin. Queen more or likely has wayyy more fans then Led Zeppelin does i mean have you seen how many people LOVE Queen of R&P alone? yesterday it was one of the biggest Queen fans birthday. shes bigger than me! and Im a HUGE Queen fan. Queen also barely but surely beat the beatles in something that i cant remeber all the way=P I gotta go with Queen! Queen also has better songs in my opionon. you just cant beat freddie mercury.

Success wise is almost a tie really, I can't vote on that.

Fan base wise is definitely Led Zeppelin.

Talent wise I think goes out to Queen, the singers ability to actually sound like a female honestly astounds me beyond belief.

A close battle indeed, but my taste in music leads me to believe that Led Zeppelin is the winner in this. I also like how you didn't tell us your side, it makes all of our opinions non-bias or in other words fair. =)

Led Zeppelin. Queen is unusual, but band member wise, Led Zeppelin. They as a whole.

I don't know if you can really compare the two. I mean they both have really unique qualities that set them aside from other bands and their qualities are different from one another as well. So they really aren't comparable in my opinion. I do like Led Zeppelin more but that's because of my taste in music, it doesn't make them a better band than Queen.
