I don't think there is any problem calling her. If she asks to meet up or something then that is something else. But also if you realize that she or possibly he! is not the person you thought they were in any way then immediately disconnect them and do not speak with them again. If she is normal and the girl you thought she was but she is asking for a relationship then tell her kindly that you are not into internet relationships, only friendships and you do not feel the same way about her. If she takes it well then you can continue to be friends and ignore the incident but if she reacts in a way which you think is weird or freaky then block her. Hope this helps.
