Will 22" rims fit a 2006 Chevy Impala LT?
Would I have to cut into the wheel welds or anything
Or will it be a simply put on and go process?
I already know I will have to stiffen the back springs since I will have people riding with me alot and I don't want the back end of my car to sag and make my back tires rub

I know they will fit a 2006 Monte Carlo my neighbor has one with 22" rims. But in order to do it his tires are such a low profile that it doesn't ride well and if he hits a pothole his rims are trash. I wouldn't recommend it unless you lift it or shave the fenders so the tires won't rub. Just know you'll likely void the warranty and many people won't give you much on resale if you make the modifications to make them fit, unless like I said go with super thin tires and then you risk your rims. Your call it's is definitely not a put on and go situation.

Ya, make sure you find good ones though, not too thick, but I wouldn't put 22s on an impala, chevy has a good name according to me.

I believe the largest wheels that will fit are 20". In order for 22's to fit, you'd have to perform major modifications. You may even have to have a lift kit installed (if they make one for that car).
