Detailed cruise packing list?
I am going on a 7 day cruise to Alaska and Canada on July 17 with Celebrity cruise line and staying in Vancouver for three days too. I'm a teen (14). Can someone give me a list of the exact things I should bring?
Heres the exact cruise:

Also- I've been on plenty of cruises before (mainly to the Caribbean and once to Hawaii) and I live in Florida. Needless to say I'm not exactly well prepared for Alaska!! My entire wordrobe consists of shorts and tank tops and t-shirts. I have a couple of light jackets and 1 or 2 pairs of jeans so I know I have to go shopping!!

The main thing that you may want to buy is a hoodie, a sweat shirt with a hood and make sure that you have a light jacket that will fit over it.
I have been to Alaska twice, once on business for two weeks in June and then on a cruise inside passage and land tour in May. What you need to pack is not that much different from any other cruise or trip. The weather in Alaska on land can be very pleasant; maybe in the 70's during the day, in July, even up into the 80's. It will likely be rainy in a couple of your port stops like Juneau and Ketchkan. Not a downpour but light showers.
It will be pleasant on ship while you are in inside area but breezy and chilly on open decks. When you get near the icebergs and glaciers it will be cold. And I mean like hat, coat and gloves cold. But the way to dress is layer your clothes so you will be warm enough when its cold but not too hot when you are in warmer areas. Instead of a ski jacket, take a lighter one that you can wear comfortably over a sweater or hoodie. Take some long sleeved shirts and slacks or jeans. Take a cap or hat and even gloves. plan in packing to be able to layer your clothing with underclothes, shirt, sweater, jacket for your dress each day.
I cruised on the Celebrity Millennium and it has areas where you can see things without being outside. It also has a solarium, a glass covered pool and hot tub area that is for those adults but you can probably use it with your parents.
The dress on ship is casual all day until 6:00PM. So take:
- swim wear,
-sun glasses and sun screen, lotions,
-a warmup suit or sweats to relax on ship in,
- a hoodie and a jacket that you can wear over it,
- a hat and gloves for when you get near the glaciers and ice fields,
- a rain poncho because it will likely rain in Ketchakan and/or Juneau,
-a book if you are a reader,
-your music player,
-good walking shoes,
-your camera, and binoculars,
-other personal toiletries.
Don't over pack , take clothes that you can mix and match tops and bottoms and plan to wear each piece twice.

Very simple. Simply type in the name of each port of call and it will give you the weather forecast as well, as points of interests. July is fairly warm in Alaska. As anywhere cooler near or on the water.
Jeans are fine. Light weight jackets are good. Possible acouple of sweaters, sneakers. If they have a buffet you do not need to dress up.
Other wise pack what you would wear in 70 to 80 degree weather.
Enjoy.

Angie_17 gave a nice list. the only thing I can say different is I took a six way plug strip with me once, and the cabin steward removed it from the room. He left a note that it would be returned the last night of the cruise,he said if too many people use them the circuits would be overloaded. he might be right or a little overzealous but it did not happen the next time, they just asked me not to use an iron ( which i had no intention of doing anyway)
