I am trying to find my long lost aunt but have no money for all these "people finder" websites?

I know she went to Francis Hammond High School in Alexandria VA and I know she is 60 years old but every where I go someone wants money to give me info, What can I do?

I love People Search Pro. It's free, but you have to register your email. No problem for me though.

I've used it tons now, and I love it. I found an old friend from high school after looking for 15 years, and this site found him right away. It was really cool. They have other services too, like all kinds of vital records searches, like marriage records, birth and death records, and even social security records.

Some of that stuff costs money, but the people finder part is free, just register your mail to unlock the good results.

Contact the school to find out her graduation year reunion person and ask if she has attended any recent school reunions. If so ask if they will forward a stamped letter to her from you with your contact information. Leave it open so they can read it to make sure of your intentions. Try the schools websites like Classmates to see if she has listed herself or maybe a child or grandchild did it for her.

Go to your local library and see what programs they have that may help like a genealogy one. Some have marriage and records/addresses databases. Are you sure she is still living? Check the SSDI, it does not have all people who died before abt the 1990's but after all deaths are now reported by mortuaries and funeral homes to SSA whether they are using benefits or not.

The website www.pipl.com is a good place to look. While it does have links to "fee-based" services, the basic website provides a lot of absolutely free information.
