1997 Seadoo not revving up?

I have a 97 seadoo gtx that runs and idles great but once you take off it'll run wide open for about 3 seconds and then die down and then rev up about half way and die down. It'll sometime rev up but not but for a second. Cleaned carbs & filter and just took the exhaust valves out and cleaned them up. Any ideas would be great bounce them off me.

If it sounds like it's bogging down, it could be improper fuel/air mixture for the high rpm. I would start there and possibly lean it out the jet for high rpm a little bit. And I mean a little bit (like a 1/8th turn) - you don't want to run too lean and end up overheating and damaging your engine.

You can freeze your engine if you improperly tune the carb, so make sure you know what you are doing, or ask for help from someone who does.

If it's 2 stroke it could the fuel system not letting enough gas to the carbs. Check the bowls on the bottom if it has them and see how much gas it has in them. If that all cecks out it could be an electrocal problem
