Will you sit next to this kid on a plane?
A stranger was seated next to a little girl on the airplane when the stranger turned to her and said, 'Let's talk. I've heard that flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger.'
The little girl, who had just opened her book, closed it slowly and said to the stranger, 'What would you like to talk about?'
'Oh, I don't know,' said the stranger. 'How about nuclear power?' and he smiles.
OK, ' she said. 'That could be an interesting topic. But let me ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff - grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, and a horse produces clumps of dried grass. Why do you suppose that is?'
The stranger, visibly surprised by the little girl's intelligence, thinks about it and says, 'Hmmm, I have no idea.'
To which the little girl replies, 'Do you really feel qualified to discuss nuclear power when you don't know s*h*i*t*?

i do no longer think of it would be creepy. the 1st time i took our son on a flight on my own (my husband became already the place we've been going), he became at his fussiest -- no longer too quite fussy for his standards, yet fussy sufficient. The worst airplane holiday ever because of the fact he did no longer desire to sit down down nonetheless and that i became flustered and could no longer locate something in my son's bag to entertain him. a pair sitting next to me, no longer too plenty older than you...perhaps 19 or 20, observed i became having problems and the boy asked if there became something he could desire to do. So he went for the period of the bag, ultimately looking his crammed animal and the pacifier i became searching for. He became a lifesaver. in case you're sat next to a mom and slightly one (which you will no longer be -- you do no longer know yet) and in case you notice her having worry, be at liberty to invite her if there is something you're able to do to assist. She'll allow you to know. If she's coping with it high quality on her very own, in simple terms sit down returned and loosen up. elementary as that.
