You'll have to put in the effort to do some linkbuilding and other social networking. Find other blogs that you like and are somewhat related to your blog (but not a competitor) and contact the blog owner to see if they'd be willing to exchange links with you.
There are plenty of other ways to generate free traffic, so I would suggest googling the terms "link building" and "SEO" for some guidance.
