I think your best bet is to try a shelter. Most of them are already full-grown so you know exactly what personality they will have- you'll know which one is naughty! :) and you'll have the good feeling of helping a life in need. There's also babies if that's your thing.
There are usually some purebreds there too- out of all the rabbits I've had, I like my holland lop's personality the best. He's pretty easygoing.
One I'd like to try is a flemish giant. I've heard that some will let you just carry them around all the time. And they're huge! So hilarious.
French lops are said to be pretty sweet. They look similar to hollands except larger.
Netherland dwarfs can be pretty opinionated and "naughty".
My mini lop is sort of moody, but you can't base that off of one bun!
It all depends on what you're looking for. Just look up a list of rabbit breeds, take a look at the pictures of them and pick the ones you think are the best looking. Then check out their personalities.
Just don't buy from a petstore. :(

Rescue a rabbit in need! There's so many out there in shelters that need loving homes!! Use petfinder.com and adoptapet.com to help you find adoptable rabbits in your area. Call your local shelter. Think about getting a bonded pair, they will be much happier with each other as company. Before you get a rabbit PLEASE do your research. These pets are not cheap or simple to care for. They need much attention and your house must be bunny proofed. You need to know they need a varied diet of hay and veggies. Consider the fact that most veterinarians consider rabbits exotic pets, therefore their care can get quite expensive. I have included a link that has several articles I recommend that you read each of them and make an informed decision =) If you have any more questions, feel free to email me by clicking on my name. I'd be happy to help you. I am a rabbit handler at my local humane society and I am a C.V.A.

Jersey Woolies are my favorite. They are small no bigger than 3 1/2 lbs. They have wool that will need to be groomed weekly. They also come in many different colors. Jersey Woolies make great pets!
