why do I keep dreaming about this person?

Question

this old friend of mine just got married and now she lives in my home town. we used to date but broke up but kept in touch though out the years. I got married first, then she got married so you know everything is cool. recently I've had dreams about her, very vivid, sometimes happy. sometimes sad, I hardly if ever think about her and I keep my distance to be respectful of her situation. 

Why do I have these strange dreams about her?  there not really sexual more like dreams where I see her in her present life sometimes happy sometimes sad.

it's just dreams, don't over thinking about it. or do anything stupid u would regret on.
but in general about the reason of dreams, i think that our unconscious mind may send us messages through it (may be u r still thinking about what happened between u in the past).

Why not meet up/phone her to be a good friend :) you dont need to act on the dreams but you can still be a good mate to her seeing if anything is bothering her

hmm.., idk the mind is a very strange and mysterious thing.
maybe the dreams are try to tell you to visit her?
anything is possible.
