First is to break it further that does not leave you any feeling of pains of her/ his memory. Logically it was good that it happened earlier and in time before you started dreaming about your life with her in future. In the matters of heart break emotions play an adverse role of a villain hurting you further. Be realistic and make up your mind to forget the entire episode as a trifle affair of no significance. But never indulge in heavy drinking, get addicted to drugs etc to forget it.

I don't think so! However, some people on here give really good advice. Depends on what your heart was broken for, but it can always be mended, so don't close it off to whatever may come in the future! Good luck
