Bought baby pool, how to keep it clean?

I bought a baby pool for my dogs because Arizona summers are brutal. How do I keep from getting algae in it so it is less of a hassle for me to clean?

    Bleach.

And placing the pool in an area with lots of shade and less contact with the sun would help. Sunlight promotes the growth of algae.

I live in AZ 2! Super hot hot hot summers there! :) You should get a light bleach and pour a small amount in (3/4 cup) with every morning. At night (somewhat cooler!), rinse it out with a hose and towel dry it. Leave water out when the pool is not in use. Continue to do this, and give the kiddo pool a break every week by letting your dogs in on the weekends or at night when you get home.

don't add chemicals, just empty it every evening and rinse it out. occasionally you can wash it with dish soap.
