Did someone die in my house?
My grandparents have lived in this house for more than 30 years.
I have lived with them all of my life. The house was built in 1930's.
For a while i never told anyone else but i would be sitting here at this exact spot and feel weird chills. I've actually heard creaks from behind me like someones is coming up from behind me, then i feel like someone is placing their hand on my my shoulder. I thought i was the only one who had this happen too. I just ignored it, i've gotten used to it.
But a week ago i was talking to my grandma and she told me that she has had that happen to her too. She has just ignored it like me. And she had allot more stories about then me.
And then one time i was looking out the window and i saw a face, i freaked out not being i thought it was a ghost but because i thought someone was trying to rob our house. So i came out side with a flash light and base ball bat to look around and no one was there. Everyone told me that nothing was there. And my friend that was outside at the moment told me she didn't see anything.
So my question is that is it possible for someone to have died in this house before my grandparents moved in. Is it possible that maybe there is a spirit/ghost in our house. I don't think they are hear to hurt us, but i just can't stop thinking about it.

Its quite possible. I live in a house built in the 1920s and I assume the long history the house survived through leaves the emotional resin of people who have passed on. Perhaps the joy or anguish people experienced in the home never really left and that's why you can't shake that feeling of not being alone.

well it sounds like that could be possible.then again someone might have died but not in the house and it could have been there house before and they came to watch over it.but when you said you don't think that that they're there to hurt you, well i was thinking it sounds like they know you.maybe its your grandparents parents but i do think there are ghosts in your house.

no spirit is ever a good spirit because they open doors to other entities. so if their is a spirit dnt try and get rid of it with a priest or a psychic call a pastor and tell him to anoint your house and im pretty sure you wont feel that hand on u

If you are religious you could have your minister come in and bless the house. I have also heard that having or burning the herb sage in the room while offering good thoughts can help.

It is very possible, you could try going to your town hall housing clerk they might have the legalities of the previous owners. You are right though if it is they might be just unsettled in the their next life. Just pray that they may go peacefully.

Oh sounds like it yes, Maybe you could go to your library and see if there were any past stories about your house. Ask some older locals if they know any thing.

Yea I think it's possible that someone died there. Sometimes you just scare yourself when you think too much about it but those few times it might be real. Good luck and take care laterz

That's totally not normal. If I were you, then I'd call a priest or something. This is serious. Good luck.

I don't think anyone knows for sure, but I've been spooked enough in my lifetime to think there's a possibility. Here's a website with other folks who also think it's possible.
Spoooooky stuff!
