I think,
one can exchange knowledge or wisdom with others both by answering as well as by questioning,
so I use to ask questions for both the reasons.

Well i ask questions here only when i wanna know something related to people's experiences or real life problems, and i reply answers only when i'm sure of the answers, or have some knowledge about them.
So , the moral is ask question to know something not to check others.

I normally ask a question to get a wider range of opinion or views and some times get a brilliant idea.
