I am not a big technology person so when I got my first cell phone back in 2006 I hardly used it and forgot at times when I had it with me. I was in the library a few months latter and forgot that I had the phone with me. I went over to the computer and started searching the Caral system for a book I wanted. I started hearing this beeping noise and thought it might be the computer. I started looking around to see if I could find someone to help me, I seriously thought I had broke the computer or something. Well, everyone was glareing at me and I really started to feel bad and embaressed until I relized the beeping was comeing from me. I so quickly pulled it out, told my nephew I was in the library and would have to call him back later. I was so embaressed because I didn't turn it off and every one else must have been technology savy because I am sure they all turned their phones off.

What I hate is people talking on their phones at a meal, answering their phone when you are in the middle of a conversation, and what I really hate is when you are in the theater and some one starts texing some one else. We may not be able to hear your conversation or your phone ring but the bright light from the phone is so annoying in a dark theter when you are trying to see a show. We have a fast food resturant here that has a sign that says, if you are on your cellphone we will not bother to ask you if you want condements. Any time that you are on your cell phone when person to person contact is expected, it is considered rude. Our kids are not allowed to be on the cell phones or texing while we are in the car. That is our oppertunity for family time and it is rude to shut us out to talk to others who aren't even there. And the list goes on. GL!!!
