Dog Lover needs help!?

I need a home remedy to get rid of ticks from my yard and my dog.

They are not fleas they are huge gross bloated with blood ticks!

Please help me.

Yes I have tried powders, shampoos and collars. I can't afford a vet so I am hoping for some help from you all! PLEASE!

Update:

Hey cmac I have removed the ticks from my dog and he is inside with me.

He does not like being inside but at least he does not have ticks on him.

    FRONTLINE. It really works. Getting rid of fleas and ticks is a challenge, but if done properly it does work. Start with Frontline, then spray your entire yard and house - make sure the spray kills eggs too (some don't). Collars and shampoos may kill the fleas temporarilly, but are known to irritate the skin, which attracts more fleas and ticks, so they don't work. I've used Frontline for years and haven't seen a flea or tick since. Give it a try - good luck!

    They have sprays for the yard.. For ticks and fleas on dog K9 Advantix..

    And why is it people who say they are dog lovers cant afford a vet? I understand hard times I promise, but why does the dog have to suffer? Lime disease not to mention discomfort. Awful. If I were near you I would take up donations and get that baby to a vet. Please do whatever you can to get to the vet.
