I heard you wear it on the left hand side if you are the bride getting married, that means that you are taken. If you are single, you can wear your flower on the right hand side. However, in today's day and age, the side of the hair does not really have any significance and the symbolism of which side the flowers are on will probably be lost on most. You can go with the traditional or wear it however you want! Just do what looks best for your face and hair style!!!

i heard wearing a red hibiscus means you're single.. can't remember what culture believes this though. google it.

i agree with all of you sometimes it goes on the right ear but i don't much about it.
