How do you remove blood on carpet?
Ok look. I did not kill anybody. How can a person kill a person? That's mean. And plus I am a very nice person. I would never do such a thing. I wouldn't even hurt a fly. I would just open the window and doors and wait for it to fly away. I am asking this question because I cut myself by accident and blood dripped on my carpet. I didn't kill anyone. I'm so nice. And plus if I did, wouldn't I be in jail right now? Yeah haha. See I'm not. I am on my computer so that means I'm not. I'm so friendly haha. I like helping people and making them happy. I would never kill anyone. Haha. So yeah. Does anybody have any clue how to remove this blood stain on carpet?

Odd place to post this question, but I happen to know the answer...
The person who said to spit on it was right - that works on small stains. If it's not your blood, or if you'd dehydrate yourself trying to spit on it, then you need some salt, some warm water, a few old towels, and some OxyClean or peroxide.
1. Get a cup or two of warm water and mix enough salt into it that it's about as salty as tears or contact lens solution. A little more is better than a little less.
2. Pour spoonfuls of this mixture on the stain, let stand for a few seconds, and then blot with a dry towel. Repeat until you aren't getting any more blood on the towels.
3. Mix some OxyClean with water and put it on any stain that remains, or put peroxide on it. Let it stand until the foaming stops. You might have to reapply the peroxide. Blot any liquid off with a dry towel. Done.
The reason the salt water is important is, if the blood is fresh, and even if it's dried but not scrubbed, the red stuff (hemoglobin) is trapped in the red blood cells. If you can rehydrate the cells and float them off the fibers without rupturing them, they'll come away clean. If you rupture the cells, the hemoglobin will get out and bind to the fibers of the carpet and it'll be a lot harder to remove. OxyClean and water or peroxide will rupture the cells, and they're more likely to leave a brown rust stain.

To clean blood from carpet pour hydrogen peroxide directly on the stain and allow to foam. Blot with a cloth dampened with water. The peroxide will break down the protein in the blood and release the stain.

This happens to me all the time, when I decided to have my dialy human beings for breakfast. The dang creatures just bleed and bleed it seems like and especially when I cut off the shoulder blade I sometimes have it spew on my carpet.
Depending on what color it is, I just use bleach if it is white.
Otherwise I take some good old-fashioned dishwater soap and start scrubbing out the carpet and add a little Shout for that extra freshness and cleanliness.

Several people already explained it better than I could. But the reason spit works is because of PH balance in their own blood compared to their own spit. One of them is acidic and the other is alkaline. And when they're from the same person, they are perfectly balanced to neutralize. It has to be the from same person though. And it works better if the blood is fresh.
Also, I have no idea why we're made that way, but it's cool.

just spread the blood and you will have a new red carpet. I have a question, why people asks many questions in the wrong sections?

the only thing that can truly get blood stains out is that persons saliva or spit, so you are in luck if it your blood soak it in your spit as fast as possible, then hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol should help to scrub the rest away. this pretty much always works.
I used to run a professional theatres' costume shop, you should have seen the actors faces when i asked them to spit on their blood stain on their costumes, but then they were always thrilled when it worked.
something about out own body chemistry. good luck
when in doubt with a stain - always try rubbing alcohol

use baking soda and a wet rag.
or if you have a carpet cleaning machine just use that and a little carpet cleaner.
