POLL: house mail or e-mail?

I need to send invitations to my friends for my 14th birthday party, which is in about 2 weeks. Should I use evite.com to send cute online invitations, or should I send invitations via normal house mail (envelopes and stamps)? Which do you think will be better and why?

I think Snail Mail (house mail) would be better because, if they are like me, they don't check their E-mail at all. I wouldn't be going to a party I was invited to through Email because I would have never checked it...

And Being 14, I doubt many people check it, or even have one.

If it gets sent to my house, then I would always get it!! =]

You don't want anyone missing out on your party do you?!!

Go with e-mail for something informal and minor like a birthday party because it is free for you. Snail mail is best for formal announcements, like a MAJOR birthday (milestone, and you're inviting people from around the country/world), wedding, shower, or graduation.

Give people a deadline to confirm attendance. Then call the ones who don't make the deadline to make sure they have checked their e-mail, OR if isn't all that many people, send a note through the mail. I think e-mail is your best option to begin with. You will know who has not checked their e-mail based upon whether or not they have replied one way or the other.

    email:

    - quicker

    - environmental friendly

    - cheaper

    - u can send the same message to many people--> copy and paste/ Time management

    - you can write clearly and the way you want it

    - delivers the same msg

    - risk of not being delivered/ it may goes to spam

    Regular mail

    - More formal may be!

    - it may tell the other party that they are very important to you

    - they may not check thier post box regularly (if it is a P.O.Box)

    - you pay for every envelop and stamp...

    ....

so i let you decide but i would go for email!

    Happy early Birthday anyways.. :)

Email. Yeah, I guess you could get a virus from opening House mail. If it has germs in it...

    house mail.

i know a lot of my friends ( i just turned 14) they very rarely check there email. VERY RARELY. everyone gets mail all the time. and your parents get it from the mail box so you get it everyday. unless all of your friends check there email a lot i would do it through email.

    House mail probably.

And in a question of what is better in general, house mail. Because you can't get a virus by opening it.

    ...or CAN you?...

E-mail. They are faster and your friends will answer you soon.
