dallas mavs are contenders now?

k so my friend thinks that with marion and gortat, the mavs are contenders...i believe they are 2nd round playoff team for sure but i dont think they will be contenders, he betted me $20 that mavs will win champ, i gots money on the lakers lol your thoughts??

ino i shoulda betted more, but my friend wont pay up if its too much, oh and btw im 15 so $20 is like $200 in adult terms

Mavs are not contenders. They have marion now yeah that helps but still, they're just gonna end up getting eliminated in the second round to some lik the spurs or the lakers, or possibly even the blazers.

do no longer sleep on the Spurs, who had a lead with seconds to bypass in interest 7 final year yet a stupid foul value them. If Detroit could make it out of the East they'd push it to 7 against Dallas yet i think of Dirk is in simple terms to plenty.
