No sound from my speakers?
All I did was change monitors.Now I have no sound ? Everything is hooked up.Pc says they are working.Power light is on.Control panel says they are on but no sound ? Settings not on mute ? Any idea
doubled checked everything.Head set no sound either.

Right click on speaker icon in system tray and click Adjust audio properties. Under Speaker setting click advanced. Check if your speaker configuration matches there.

maybe... hmm.... well double check that they are plugged in, check the volume. it might not be on mute, but maybe the volume is turned all the way down. then check the cord that connects TO the speaker. double and triple check everything.

Click START>CONTROLL PANEL> SOUND DEVICES> this will bring up a box where u can adjust them.

if you have a sound card move it to a new pci port you may have a irq problem

what sound card do you have? check to make sure its default output hasn't changed.
