can you get back in the army with a chapter 10 discharge RE code 4?
I made an unintelligent mistake after 19D OSUT graduation and jumped ship a year ago and went AWOL. I completely regret the decision and wish there was something I could do to get back in. I wanted to become a lifer yet I made a big imistake after AIT. I got involved with my old friends from school when I arrived home on leave and decided I would not return. I realize it was irresponsible and immature. If anyone could anwer theese questions I would greatly appreciate it.

Right now it would take a waiver from God.
They aren't allowing most prior service in. You don't have a ghost of a chance without a perfect RE code. Wait till another war breaks out, and the economy improves before you even consider trying.

once you went awol you started the process for a bad conduct discharge which stops you from joining any branch of the armed service also with a bad conduct discharge you have also lost all your va benefits. and the KFS code stand for the good of the service and the re 4 code is non wavier so you can not join back up.sorry
