It is not fast, but is very reliable (as are most Nissan's.) If you are interested in speed, get a V6 Altima or Maxima, the Sentra is just too slow if you want to take other cars.
Spec-v on the Sentra just changes the suspension, I don't think the engine on that car is any different than a normal Sentra.

Engine and performance wise yes, there is a huge difference. The Spec V is the higher performance model than the SER. The engine is bigger in the Spec V with a 2.5L V6 and is also 6 spd according to the site you gave. Visually I don't think there is a difference though. A friend of mine has a Nissan Sentra SER and for a 4 cylinder it can haul pretty good haha.

They are fairly quick since they have the 175 hp engine from the 2.5 altima. I would watch out with those cars because the engines are known to ingest the screws on the intake manifold and potentially ruin the engine.

its a very snappy car some times hard to control under heavy acceleration due to torque steer as far as fast how around 155 takes a min to get there but that's 155 no problems i know of other than replacing tires now to the taking of other cars as long as its not turbo charged or more than 50k it will put most cars to shame im not sure what sparky was talking about

Any car can do anything if you want to put the money in it. As to this car, at stock it's no more special then a corolla or a civic, in my oppinion. Now others may disagree, and they have every right to it, but if you have the cash to do it, get the visual that you like and make the rest work for what you want it to.
