Depends on what they do after the election and how the conservatives handle things.

Given recent history, it seems likely that the Conservatives will get a second term -- with Labour being the last party to only get one term in government. However, I really do not expect Labour to disintegrate as much as they did after the 1979 elections or how the Conservatives did a decade ago.

I don't think the next election is as clear cut as Conservatives would have people believe. We still have to have both parties manifesto's, which means Cameron is finally going to have to come up with some policies. You'll essentially have a choice between taxes that favour the rich and schemes that protect the poor. Keeping the minimum wage, or having it abolished. A 10% slash in public services putting hundreds of thousands more on the dole, or investment in jobs and training. You should also think whether you want child benefits cut, free bus fares abolished, the winter fuel allowance abolished and pension credits cut. Cam the Sham will be into all of these. Cameron keeps waffling about stuff to take our minds of the real issues, first it was Iraq, then MPs' expenses, now he's jumping on the "more helicopters for our boys in Afghanistan" bandwagon, when you would think he would realise that, as a military person said, it would take years to get the Chinooks ready and personel trained to fly them in the conditions in Afghanistan. But all the while he is saying this, he doesn't have to answer questions on what he would do if his party gained power. He hasn't even mentioned that he would put more money into defence, or abolish the new trident. The man's a lightweight with no ideas, and the country will hopefully wake up to this fact.

I think all the major political Party's are in for one huge shock.

The people of Britain deserve better than what they have had in the past.

The people in power have forgoten who pays their wages and expenses, but I think they will get a reminder at the next General election.
