Well, the Rockettes are good old-fashioned variety show entertainment, like the sort of thing kids and grandmas love, so, if you are, or you are bringing, a kid or a grandma, go see the Rockettes.
On the other hand, if you're younger and/or you're bored by good old-fashioned variety show entertainment, then go for the Cirque Du Soleil. I saw them in Vegas and it was breath-taking!!

If you want classic Broadway entertainment, go to the Rockettes. If you want to be astounded by daring feats, unbelievable talent and extraordinary music combined with a theatrical masterpiece, go to the Cirque du Soleil...

Rockettes at Radio City, Macy's Herald Square with the windows that they hook up really nice. JC Penny's has Santa and you can't forget the Rockefeller Center Ice Skating Ring. Check out St. Patricks Cathedral. It is beautiful inside.
