Need help with in state/out of state tuition?

I was wondering how long you have to live in the state to get the in state tuition?

    It depends on the state.

    Some require a year, some require longer. Another problem is that some states will not allow you to qualify for in-state tuition for their school if you have moved to that state for the main reason of becoming a student.. Armstrong in Savannah, GA is one that has that rule I believe.

    It is best to contact the particular school, or go on their website and search for 'in-state tuition requirements' or something similar.

    Depends on the state Exp, AZ is 12 months. MI is 6th months. Some colleges have different rules to. Ask the admissions office

    i think its a year but you should check with the school you're thinking about going to [or are going to] to be sure.
