What do Michael Jackson's musicians and dancers get now that the tour is no more?

Now that Michael Jackson is dead, what happens financially to the staff, musicians and dancers of MJ's tour? Are they just told to go home? Do they get severance pay? If so, in what way?

that would be the last thing on anyone's mind right now - the King of Pop has died... Anyways the AEG should be ready for what's coming for them - time behind bars! THey pressured Michael Jackson to do 50 when he only wanted to do 10. He was overworked and remember that in the event of Michael's death the company could fork out 2x or 3x the original amount of money from his life insurance.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson - wish those responsible for ur death could be prosecuted and jailed as soon as possible!

Well if you've seen entertainment tonight you'd know that micheal Jackson was actually broke and that concert was only going to cover a dent of what he actaully owed. I'm guessing that unfortunatly those people will either not get paid or ill get paid ver liitlle cause everyone that bought a ticket was given a refund

they will get nothing because they are the wickets link, unless they had an insurance in the contract. Dancers and musicians have least guaranties in those contracts.

though (answer 1) says they will "not get paid because he was broke", that WAS true. However, Michael is worth three times as much in death. his debt was around two hundred million, maybe three, i forget the numbers, but his net worth in death is still well over two hundred million. with that said, i believe that they WILL get paid.

hummm i would hope that they would get the satisfaction of at least being on the same stage as him.

  • They go back to scubbing floors and cleaning toilets.
