will the rockets make the playoffs next year?
i know everybody is doubting them but i still believe that they can make the playoffs. yao ming may be out, but they still have aaron brooks who is going to get better and they have some pretty decent draft picks and backups. t-mac is coming back and they still have scola and ariza and battier. plus von and carl. if they try hard enough and if yao gets healthy(hopefully) i bellieve that they can go all the way. so what do you guys think? will the rockets make it to the playoffs? if so, what seed.
bq: do you like the rockets

I still believe also. Remember everybody was doubting us last year too. Never underestimate the heart of a champion. Maybe it was a reason that Artest left, and Yao and T-Mac were injured, and Ariza got traded here.
When I go to a Rockets game my sign will say:
"Everything happens for Ariza!!!" lol.
BQ: Yeah
BQ2: Rockets just like yours

Yes they will make the playoffs, I think that if they just get a decent center without shaking up the team that much, then they can become an even better team than they were last year, they took the Lakers to seven games with the players they got, [w.o tmac, or deke, or w.o yao for a while] And this team will only mature and improve because they are so young. They will not win it all this year, but it is going to be fun watching Brooks, Ariza, and James White run the fast break next year.

Probably but as like a 7th, or 8th seed. Everyone knows Yao Ming will be out for the season maybe longer, T-Mac won't be healthy. But I still believe they will do ok and be 7th or 8th seed.

Not until we know who their Center is last year when Yao was hurt in the middle of the Playoffs they had Chuck Hayes who is 6'6" there is no was they are going to make the Playoffs with a Center shorter than Lebron.

No, they will not have a good center and T-Mac wont be very healthy. The only way they could if Trevor Ariza and Shane Battier play the best they can.

Yes, assured, they took th eLakers to game 7 without T-Mac or Yao, so losing Yao, yes, will hurt them a little, but for the most part, they will fight. I give 'em a 4th seed.
BQ1 - Yes, not my favorite, but they are good.
BQ2 - Orlando Magic

I don't think they'll make it. T-Mac won't be healthy at the beginning of the season and I don't think he'll come back until about January. And I don't think he'll stay very healthy. I think he will play a max 40 games maybe 50. But I think Rockets will miss it. Next year definitely.
BQ- Yes one of my favorites.
BQ2- Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks

It's too early to tell, there is plenty of time for them to sign other players. By they way, Von Wafer said he won't be returning.
BQ: I don't mind them.
BQ2: I don't support any team, just basketball in general.
