    You may have switched on some Accessibility Options. Try this to fix things:

    In Windows XP:

    1. Click Start->Control panel.

    2. Click Accessibility Options.

    3. Click the next Accessibility Options link.

    4. You should now be in the Accessibility options dialog box. Uncheck all checkboxes on the Keyboard tab and click OK.

    In Windows Vista:

    1. Click the Windows button->Control Panel menu item.

    2. Click Ease of Access.

    3. Click Change how your keyboard works.

    4. Uncheck all checkboxes.

    5. Click the Apply button.

    Hope that helps.
