What would you do in this situation?

I do not drive,So I usually get a ride into work with a few different coworkers,I always give them gas money or pay for their meal when we go out to lunch.Well one day I got called into the office at work with my boss and human resource,they told me that people were scared to tell me that they don't wanna give me a ride and what not,Who I thought were my friends went behind my back to complain to them,one girl told me what she said in the office when she was called in the other lied about what she said,I no longer talk to 2 outta the 3 people that di that to me.The 2 I don't talk with were really good friends,so I thought,One of them said to my boss she does not even talk to me and my bosses response was well look at what you did to her.The other girl said to my boss she feels bad and she wonders if she would write me a letter.So if you were in situation what would you do??
