PMS Sleeping problems?

I know it sounds crazy but, for the past 3 months or so I have noticed that I can't sleep while I am PMS'ing! I might get 2 - 4 hours (if I am lucky) a night for a week before my cycle starts! Its very difficult with the added fatigue! has anyone ever had this happen to them? what can I do to stop it?

Update:

I ment what can i do besides taking sleeping meds?

Update 2:

BTW i am on BC pills (have been for about 5 years) someone said something about it being my hormones, could that have anything to do with it?

Do a nice long stretching routine before bed, or yoga and take it seriously, concentrate on your breathing and stuff, this will relax your muscles and can help with cramps.

i went through that on my last period and i stayed up for 20 hours..i wasnt a BIT sleepy..i couldnt do anything about it, so as soon as i got a little sleepy i went and relaxed in my bed and tried to sleep and it worked. It's because of your hormones..

I really think Tylenol is a better option. But you can get a hot pack of water and place it on your stomach and hope for the best.
