Im getting Spacers tomorrow and i am a little nervous. What Should i expect?

    ok so first of all, dont be nervous, it doesnt even take that long

    so what they do is take a spacer(its smaller than a dime) and feed it through some floss and push it between two teeth. you will feel some discomfort so take a advil or something. orajel will probably be a great friend to you because your mouth will be sore. good luck!

    omg.... ok im going to be honest....these people that answered are obviously whimps.... the maximum it will hurt is 3-4 days.... you will probably need some advil or tylonol but thats it. its NOT life or death situation...other than that it will feel like you have food between your teeth....do NOT try to get it out with floss or your tongue or anything....but really its NOT going to be a huge deal

    pain.

    i got mine yesturday they hurt bad !

    expect to be eating pudding jello yogurt and mashpotatos

    expect to put orjel all over your gums

    ibprofin is going to be your bestfriend

    suck on ice it helps

    sleep is good.

    do NOT chew your food.

    A LOT of pain.

    A whole lot.

    I got 8 on Friday.

    And I couldn't even eat solid food.

    It's really painful.

    I got my braces yesterday & they cut my gums kinda.

    DONT BE NERVOUS IT DOES NOT HURT AT ALL.AFTER IT JUST FEELS WEIRD FOR A DAY OR SO BECAUSE YOUR NOT USED TO SOMETHING BETWEEN YOUR TEETH
