How can I get rid of Cockroaches?

Heck no they are not at my house, but they are at a house I spend time at every once in a WHILE. i DISLIKE THEM mainly the little bastards that Fly.... I need to find a Eco-Friendly way to direct them back to the outside in the trees before I chop them all down,

Thanks Suggas

You could probably just spray those pesky bugs and they should later die. You could also call an exterminator if the owner of the house wanted you to. Moreover, if you're an outside person, especially during the night, you should limit your trips in and out the door. It may help a little bit even though they can crawl through cracks. But I wouldn't panic. I hate them and I'm scared of them. But they don't hurt you.

I find a lot of peoples methods here quite tedious. I live in a town on the east coast of Australia (most common place for cockroaches in Australia). We have all the types (large and small) of cockroaches. There is no way you can actually get rid of them, they are one of the most successful organisms to date and have outlived the dinosaurs. Even if you think you have killed them off with batis etc, they will be back again and again. The only thing you can do is control their numbers by some housekeeping and killing off. Housekeeping is obvious, just don't let them get to food as much as possible. I find it is easier to use cockroach bombs and lay traps once a year, THEN just use a spray or whatever method to kill them off singularly. The bombs or equivalent simply release a whole can of spray which gets into crevices etc. You also kill spiders, silverfish etc. I use two in the kitchen and a further 4 around the house (they come in packs of 3 here). You will find lots of dead things the next week lying around. You should then lay traps in the kitchen. They LOVE going in appliances and stovetops, so put traps under them. Hope i helped.
