What do you think on this?

Okay, me and my two friends were going to marching band practice.

There's a creek behind our street and we went to cross a bridge that was in it. The creek belongs to the city and no one owns it.

Apparently someone tried to claim the bridge and put a privacy sign over it. We couldn't be late and didn't have a choice so we had to take the bridge and we did. But a guy in a nearby yard comes and yells at ys (we're just teens, 14 and 15 years old) and he threatens to call the cops when he doesn't even own the bridge.

I know he doesn't own the bridge because me and all my friends had been crossing it since before that guy put a sign over it (5 years) and before I moved in I was told the city owns the creek.

Do you think it was right for the guy to threaten us?

I'm just wondering.

**And I didn't know which category this went under ;)

Update:

We would never do anything bad there...I'm not a bad person, most adults in my neighborhood like me.

I don't think it as right of him to threaten you. You weren't threatening him.
