I have had 2 experiences, first time ended with me being diagnosed with a blighted ovum, needed a d&c to remove the growing sac, second time, started bleeding around 5 weeks, thought I was losing the baby again, went for u/s at 6w1d, heartbeat was found, bleeding continued off and on till about 11 weeks, delivered at 39 weeks healthy boy, they think I had a small tear on the uterine wall, they said it usually heals itself, best wishes

I have a history of miscarriage. Then in this pregnancy I had spotting at 7 weeks, bleeding at 16 weeks, bleeding at 18 weeks, and bleeding at 24 weeks. Everything has been fine and baby is strong as anything.
Bleeding isn't always bad. Sometimes it can be from implantation, when the egg buries itself in the lining of your womb it displaces a little blood. Other times it's not even from your womb or the baby and can instead be from your cervix, which is extra sensitive in pregnancy. If you've had sex recently, this can irritate the cervix and make it bleed a little. Or it could a cervical erosion (which is what I have had). An erosion is a misleading term, it's not wearing away or eroding. A cervical erosion is basically an irritated patch of cells on your cervix that can rupture and bleed a little. It's scary but common.
You should always get bleeding checked out though, just to be certain that everything is ok. Try not to be afraid. If it is bad news then know that nothing you did or didn't do could have prevented this from happening. Hopefully everything is fine though, best of luck.

hi hun. im bleeding to a the moment. but because i was only scanned last week i have to wait till thursday. I started spotting last thursday after an internal and had 1 tiny pink spot thursday and 1 friday. then saturday sunday and monday had 1 brown spot each day. Then yesterday i had a few brown spots and 2 pink one. All tiny. The brown is really really pale brown. I have also been cramping as well. All the early pregnancy will say is it could be normal or it may not be but i cant find out for a week.
My miscarriage i started bleeding brown blood when i wiped then after about 4 days it went pink then after 2 days went red then i cramped and miscarried.
\please let me no how you get on

I am going through the same thing as you i went to the hospital last monday (23 July) and they told me that the sac was still there and it could lead to a mis carriage but they told me to come back in 2 weeks( that is this friday 3 August). So went to my own doctor and he said that it could just b to small that they could not c it and they will take a mesurement of the sac and see if it has grown any. I now it is hard not to get ur hopes up but all u can do is just try and take it easy( it is very hard if you have any more kids running round u)u said that u had stopped bleeding lets hope that it doesnt come back and everything is fine with u and ur baby. I havent bleed since last tuesday so thats y i am thinking to me that everything is ok but i know it is a bad thing to do but i really hope u all the best and that it is fine good luck and keep us posted.

i was some where around 28-30 weeks and i went to the bathroom and i wiped and there was a spot of blood well i freaked and hollered for my mom.she told me that when she was pregnant with me that the same thing happened to her and when she called her doctor he told her just to keep lay down and keep her feet up for a couple of hours and if she had anymore to come right to his office or the hospital.so I laid down and put my feet up and it just went away.I now have a healthy 9 week old lil b0y!

During some pregnancy's you may have bleeding.
Some women will still have their period while being pregnant.
Its always good to go to the doctors anyways.
