Student loan questions please read!?

I got denied for my FAFSA, they told me i make too much money! I can barely pay rent much less my bills and I make too much! anyways sorry about the rant! I need to know all about student loans I have been trying to research them online but I am so confused! My college says they do not offer student loans! (I live in a community where almost everyone abuses the system and lives off the government b/c they are too lazy to work so I guess the school stopped offering student loans b/c no one was paying them back) Can I even get one? or would I have to apply for just a personal loan? I am all so confused and frustrated about this please help me! I feel stuck!

Update:

BTW i am going back to get my ADN (assoc. degree in Nursing) but I still have to get some of my basic's out of the way before i am eligable for grants for my nursing degree!

First, look at your SAR (the report that you got after you filed your FAFSA). You may have made a mistake on it, like putting figures on the wrong line. If there are any corrections you can make, make them.

Second, colleges don't make loans. Lenders make loans. The school will tell you, based on your FAFSA, how much student loan money you are eligible to borrow from a lender, and they will tell you how to do it.
