Refried beans Dried package of taco seasoning sourcream taco sauce diced tomatoes balck olives shredded lettuce shredded cheddar cheese Mix some of the taco seasoning into the refried beans until you find the spice you like Layer beans onto a tray and pop in the microwave to get warm Top and layer on all the other ingredients to how you like it. I personally like to do the sourcream first along with a little taco sauce, then the lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and then leave the olives for last. You can also subsitute ground beef or chicken for the beans or add them in besides the beans. You can also do this with a can of chili with or without beans.

Taco seasoning usually is chilli pepper, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, with some variations of peppers.

    1 can of refried beans

    1 lb of hamburger

    1 package of taco seasoning.

    1 package of tortilla

cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, sour cream and taco sauce optional

In a large skillet, brown hamburger and drain. Follow directions on seasoning package to add the seasoning. Open can of refried beans, add to mixture and let simmer for a couple of minutes.

Here's something my husband loves, I take the above mixture, place in soft tortillas (10' tortillas) with cheese sprinkled and fold. Heat 2 tbs of oil in a skillet fry the taco til golden brown. The cheese ends up all melted, you can open and add lettuce etc. Excellent!

Chili powder, salt, cumin, black pepper, possibly oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, possibly a little thickening like cornstarch, sugar.

I just brown my beef, add a few tablespoons of chili powder (enough to turn the meat reddish), and about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of everything else except salt (1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon). If I want it a little saucy, I add some water and maybe a shot of ketchup.

You can actually but a packaged taco seasoning...it's in the packages like gravy. That's the easiest if you don't want to go through all the trouble. :)

I'll play along, but I just want to point out that no self-respecting Mexican would ever season a taco with anything beyond salt.

Salt, pepper, garlic and the meat. top with shredded cabbage, or lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, avacado, and or cheese.

and who knows what is in that stuff.
