Can you tell how they will look like too please??
T.Y

I cannot even tell you how many times i see a question asking answerers to name characters in a developing story. It is the job of the author to think up names for his or her character, otherwise it would no longer be your book, now would it? It is especially important that the author think up their main character's name, for it begins a special bond between character and creator that shall carry on through out the story. If someone else were to name your character, it would be like having a complete stranger name your newborn child. Now when thinking up character names, it is always important to think back to the person that inspired that character. Whether he or she be a friend, relative, another character that you'd read in a book or seen in a movie, or a complete stranger that you'd seen on the street, that character did not just appear out of thin air. I personally have a character whose entire persona reminds me of my grandmother, so i named her according to the time she was born in. It is not entirely up to the author to use any name that pops into their head, I admit that i have only done this once or twice myself. However, one of the most important tasks that the author has, next to planning out a plot and actually writing it, is to personally choose the name that best fits his or her character. I will often use a list of names off of the social security website and choose a name based on the year that they were born. The Social Security Administration has a list of the most popular names for each year since 1879. If i were you, i'd start there.

Another option that you have as an author is to use online name generators. Type 'name generator' into your seach engine. I will generally use the name generator site below for minor chracters that will only appear once or twice in the story:

This site will provide a random first and last name, middle initial, and address.

because of the fact if the Little Mermaid became into named Mildred as a substitute of Ariel it could have been lots extra durable so you might get into the story. The call which you opt for on creates a customary effect of the character and there are already prejudices that pass alongside with particular names. in spite of the reality that it would not look like this became right into a valid question in accordance with interest somewhat it form of feels to be a thank you to ***** approximately something and get validation from others, so if so you could dismiss my answer thoroughly because it is not what you desire to take heed to.

You should really make your own characters... but since I've got a few minutes:
Female:
Emelia Aarons. Long black hair, pale blue eyes, petite, narrow nose, almond shaped eyes.
Natalie Rogers. Tall, athletic. Red hair in pony tail, bright green eyes. A little plain-faced, but no one sees her as less than gorgeous after getting to know her.
Marybeth Turnbull. Grey hair, usually worn in a bun. Wise brown eyes. Little old woman, somewhat hunched posture. Looks frailer than she is.
Male:
Jackson Scott. Spiked bleached blond hair (naturally brown) and brown eyes. Tall, somewhat spindly, wide mouth.
Matthew Dickens. Messy brown hair and hazel eyes. Medium height and build. Carefree aura, accented by a ready smile.
Corwin Henderson. Long blond hair, usually loose, and dark, deep set eyes. Usually frowning with eyebrows furrowed. Tall, imposing.
Jerold Bergen. Thin white hair, mostly bald. Washed out green-grey eyes. Long beard makes up for lack of hair on head and hides his small mouth. Large nose, reading glasses.

I think that you can probably think of some. You are the author and you can think of your characters. Otherwise its like someone else is writing the book and it won't be as original if you didn't full create it yourself. Just trying to help. Good luck! :)

Well, I cant tell you how they are going to look, because that's your job. But a way to come up with character looks and personalities is base them off of people you know. I know one of my characters was based off of a guy in one of my classes. The character was quiet, secluded, athletic, tall, muscular, passionate. Sort of like the guy in real life, but i mixed up his personality and looks a bit.
I can give you names though. My favorites for guys: Jason, Aaron, Lance, Vincent, Demetri, Sebastian, Aiden, Conan, Ethan, Joseph, Trevor, Kael, Mason, Marcus, Royce, Troy.
My favorites for girls: Marcea, Kennedi, Cameron, Shaine, Athena, Shaylin/Shaylee.
Some last names I like: Reid, Reed, Reese, Reeves, Wright, Hayes, Malone, Mendoza.
Here's a website for last names in case you need more: http://www.cvisual.com/film-techniques/writer-char...

Please think up your own characters. (: Its part of being a writer. I know it sucks, but..... Yeah. I usually write pages of information about my characters, just so its documented and cannot be messed up or forgotten/contradicted in the story. I even write down the smallest things like, 'Likes spaghetti', and stuff like that, just because it might be useful. (: Come on, be creative! Oh, and make them unique. ^^ No one likes a Mary-Sue, OR an overly-used cliche character.

Think of what your characters are like and who they are based off of. Or who they sorta be based off. Make up favorite foods and other favs. and birthdays. It helps. S.E Hinton did it!!
