How Do U Fix a XBOX 360 Game That Says Is Apparently "Unreadable"?
I am playin Gears of War 2 that I rented frm a local store and it keeps saying that the disk is "Unreadable" how do I fix it?

it is not fixable, also many people who are cheap and disrespectful will rent a game they already have and swap it with the clean unscratched rented disc, very cheap so just return the game as soon as you find out best to check the game before you leave the store, because you can be found charged for damages

yeah umm you can either do the thing that the dude before me said to do but if that doesnt work you can just go to game crazy and get a new CD for like 20$...i know that the CDs are used but my rockband cd broke about 1 week ago and it was "unreadable" and i tried cleaning it and still didnt work...so i just went to game crazy and got a new one...its perfectly used and works just fine so now im rocking my butt of all the time!!

borrow or rent a copy of the same game and install to hard drive, then u can play (but u need to leave ur screwed copy in the 360) i know this works as i do it myself as i have loads of "unreadable discs" hope this helps

If you take a little toothpaste with bakeing soda in it and rub it on the back of the cd and rinse it off with warm water. Or take regular toothpaste and a little baking soda and mix it then rub it on back then let sit out to air dry.
If there are still minor scratches on the CD leave it in your freezer over night.

look for a local place that has a disc resurfacer which is what i think they are called. my call of duty 4 disc was extreemly scratched and after taking it to a place that had one it now works like new. i have another disc thats not working and im gona do the same with it.

Try to clean it with alcohol, use a very smooth cloth and rub it gently.
