I need math help with slope!!?
Im doing homework for school and im getting confused on this. It doesn't have to do anything with graphing. The internet is making me even more confused. An example is y=3/4x and y=7/2x+3.
I'm talking about slope. It and im confused.
Um... what do i do with the +3 in the second one
What if one equation is x=3 then i do the same thing?

The slope of y=3/4x is 3/4.
The slope of y=7/2x+3 is 7/2.
When equations are written in slope intercept form, y=mx+b, the slope is always m or the number right in front of the x. But only if it is in y=mx+b form. ex y = 2x - 4 then the slope is 2
For x=3, that is a vertical line going through the x axis at 3. Because it is a vertical line it has "no slope" Answer: No Slope
If it were y=3 that would be a horizontal line going through the y axis at 3. It would have "zero slope".

if your looking for the slope on those equation,
always remember that when the equation is in the form of
y=mx+b, the slope is the m b4 the x. so the slope in the 1st equation is 3/4 and on the 2nd is 7/2
and the +3 on the second equation is the y-intercept, that is the one that u have to put 1st on the coordinate plane on the
y axis.
by the way, is your topic in math about plotting points in a coordinate plane, and the one your asking is the 3rd method w/c is the
slope- intercept method?
that's all.
gudluck!

are you trying to find the slope or what?
if it tells you to find the slope:
for the first one, slope=3/4
for the second one, slope=7/2
or your question did not explain clearly.
Hope it works.
If not, please reexplain.
