Seroquel/Cymbalta and sex drive?

I take 30mg Cymbalta when i wake up with food for my anxiety/depression and a Seroquel 50mg at night to sleep. Now I've heard Cymbalta decreased you sex drive but, I've found my sex drive has increased highly but, I have a difficulty achieving and erection or ejaculation. Does anyone know why my sex drive is very high right now, higher than before I began talking the meds?

My question, if you can answer, is what your diagnosis is? You may be experiencing hypomania as an reaction to your antidepressant. I would suggest seeing your doctor for this increased sex drive, as it may mean that you are Bipolar Type II. Second to that, all neuroleptics such as Seroquel can cause sexual dysfunction in men. Really see your doctor first. Risk factors for ED include drugs, alcohol, smoking, and obesity - have any of those? Seroquel is the least dangerous of the atypical antipsychotics, so I am doubtful to this chain of thought. Considering your anxiety, does this include sex? Social phobia can cause sexual anxiety too!

The reports that cymbalta or prozac decrease sex drive are lies.

I know it because I know one of the study authors, and he is a lier, he will lie about anything that still gets him his big pay check from the pharmaceutical companies.

The only drugs that might decrease sex drive are estrogens or those prostate medications that cut down on the effects of male sex hormones. They work by decreasing fluid volume, which it linked to the sex drive. They are not labeled for that, and have side effects most males would not want.

You could try viagra but I will tell ya what, that stuff sucks. The side effects are terrible. Have you ever tried a sexual enhancer? I was in your situation, like I said, viagra was tried but it wasn't for me considering the side effects overwhelm the pleasures of it. I found this natural herbal enhancer and figured what the heck, if it's natural it must be great and plus it said no side effects. I tried it and after about two days of taking it I was just horny like a mad man. All the time, I have erections that want to stand straight up and the orgasms are to die for. The stuff was called vigrx plus and I saved on it at the time at hughs-reviews.com , You should check it out. I love the fact it's made from a researched blend of herbs that seem to do the trick for me atleast.

Good luck and I hope this helps.
