Good spot for camping in NSW?
Hey, me and some friends wanna go out for the weekend camping out toward the lithgow area (were from bathurst)..
were all 16/17 so it can't be too far from bathurst..
but any idea's??
just a quite place, maybe with some bush walking. Camp fires allowed. thanks ;)

If you've got a 4WD available (it's not heavy 4WD'ing) I would suggest Newnes Forest. You can't light fires there during the summer (for obvious reasons) but I think during the winter it's fine. There's some caves and opportunities for bushwalking out there.
It's 8km out of Lithgow (where you catch the Zig-Zag Railway) but once you get there it's a good 20-30km inland (unfortunately). It is worth the drive though.
