Several weeks back not many people in the UK had caught it but now it seems to be everywhere!

The government haven't acted at all, or do you know of any way they have?

i think they have done their best, they quickly made a large supply of tamiflu for a start, i think enough for 1/3 of the population (which is a lot more than the predictions), took precautions such as school closures. and informed the public well, with leaflets etc
