i want to know what team has the best fans and the worst?

Best: Yankees, because they have always had a large, devoted following even when their team is not doing well. A lot of history behind that team and the fans know it. I also think Philly. Despite what many people think, the fans are extremely devoted whether the team is doing bad. They may boo the team if it gets really bad, but that is no different than any other team in sports. Players actually say they like playing in Philly because when you do play well, the fans love you, so it gives them motivation.

Worst: Red Sox. Not the true Red Sox fans who suffered through years of not gett the World Series, but all the bandwagon fans. Suddenly everybody loved them. Same thing I hated about the Patriots. New England teams are the biggest examples of bandwagon fans. Plus Red Sox fans always complained about the Yankees spending so much money to build a team, and then the Red Sox became exactly that.

Best: Detroit Tigers-The reason teams like New York and Boston have such high attendance is because they've always been good, or at least decent. They make the playoffs almost every year. The Tigers have had a LOOOOOOONG cold streak since their last World Series win, and the fans were still loyal the whole time, and now that they're winning, they're even more loyal.

Worst: Florida Marlins-You pretty much already covered this one.

I would say the Chicago Cubs have great fans because no matter if the Cubs are in first place or in last place, fans will continue to support the team through its triumphs and challenges.

The team with the worst fans are the Florida Marlins because when I do see them play on television, I do not see enough fans in the seats and it shows me that people are not interested in going to games. I believe this will change when the Marlins open their news stadium and become the Miami Marlins.

The Best- Boston Red Sox every seat in Fenway is season ticket holders, and the New Yankee Stadium, no one goes to those game expect rich people cause the tickets are so high, so i say Red Sox even till '04 it was sold out supporting their team you never see an empty seat at Fenway, and the atmosphere is the best out of any ballpark i have been too

The Worst- Cleveland Indians they were good in '07 it was sold out every game beat the '95 and '97 records then the suck in '08 and '09 and no one goes bunch of front runners.

Cubbies have the best fans! They stick by their team through thick and thin and wrigley is always sold out no matter where the cubs are in the NL central standings.

I would say worst fans are... like you said marlins. the stadium is always empty and they don't seem too supportive of their team. oh and dodger fans can be jerks (personal experience, i live in LA).

Best-

Red Sox- Fenway is always sold out, and the atmosphere is the best out of any ballpark i have been too.

Cardinals- They know baseball, and really care about there team.

Worst-

In general teams that have had losing records for a while, don't have the best fans.

Cardinals fans are the most knowledgeable about the game, most yankee fans just ride the bandwagon because it is a winning organization. The worst are Phillies fans because they can turn on you as soon as you go into a slump

Best-St. Louis. They always cheer for there team and never give up on them.

Worst-Red Sox. There fans practically double after the 2004 season because they won the world series. and they call us bandwagon

the only reason fenway is packed is because it small then any other park and like what people said, the fans started growing since 2004 because some red sox fans r bandwagoners

BEST- LOS ANGELES DODGERS AND YANKEES
