How should this story end?
(Very Open Joker Boy) Vokey has been publicly courting Betty (Beautiful Introvert Tight Girl) for more than three years now.
Vokey had a girlfriend for more than a year while he was courting Betty. And Betty knew that. Everybody knew that.
But Vokey keeps on telling everybody that he loved Betty so much. And everybody now believes him except for Betty.
As the story goes, Betty finally believes that Vokey loves her. However, Betty does not love Vokey.
Vokey broke up with his long term gf (4 years) after a year and a half he met Betty.

is "vokey" still with his girlfriend?
if so he should $crew "betty" and keep his gf.
it would make a kinda confusing but funny ending
this probably sounds dumb because i suck at writing stories

If well-written, I think you have the ending already.
Have the twist as Betty's realisation that she doesn't love Vokey, and end the story unexpectedly with Vokey (after he had just broken up with this other girlfriend) left distraught and alone... heartbroken.
A bit sombre, I realise, but realistic. I'd be thrilled to find even one love story that doesn't have a happy ending (because, in real life, they rarely do).

Make sure Vokey doesn't get the girl; everybody expects that.
BTW, Vokey is a funy name.
