Blackberries...which one is best? Flips? Or?

I have always had flip phones so I can protect the face and stop accidental 'use' when the phone is on..by having keys hit in my pocket or purse. I want to know what Blackberry users think. Are flip phones better or???

Update:

So far only one person has said why they do or do not like flips, etc. Can I have some reasons please? Do you guys with 'nonflips' have any trouble with activating the unit accidentally while in a pocket or purse? Are there covers that prevent this?

    i have a blackbery flip but its a hassle to flip it every time i get a text.

    so i would recommend the blackbold

    what a coincidence, i see an ad for a Blackberry Curve Flip phone. lol

    personally i dont like flip phones i will go with the blackberry curve 8900
