What is the exact gap for a spark plug in a Ford F-150 V-8?
This is an older Ford F-150 A 1998 V-8 (the small 8). I am going to change the plugs and can not find the spec for the plug gap.

0.052 to 0.056 in or 1.3 to 1.4 mm
on upper rad cross member it mark on decal or under hood
4.6 engine code 6 or w same gap

ok u can call a junk yard they more likly can tell u
or a part store can a good part store can, they have some one one that knows stuff
i was in a part store and this guy named off my van yr make and then got my stuff he worked in a juck yard be 4

where did you buy them, have them check and they will gap them for you! some people swear that they are set at the factory but I have found them to be off, they`ll be Glad to gap um for you.

just buy new ones, they come pre-gapped..plus the salesman will give you the specs....they should be around 50 to 60 thousands..
