Lord of the flies question?

What two charaters would you consider to be "outsiders" on the island.

    Simon and Piggy.

Piggy was considered an outsider since Jack loathed him with all his heart. Jack excluded him and ignored his say in the island, and so did his supporters (like Roger).

Simon turned out to be "dead since he reached the island" because he's psychic (lol) and knows that he's not going to escape. When the whole civility vs. savagery theme is more obvious, Simon is usually found alone without anybody around him.

People who don't really belong to the group? I suppose the littluns in a way since they have no authority whatsoever. I believe Simon was the quiet one who spoke to the Lord of the Flies, I suppose you could consider him an outsider considering his lack of influence in the group and complete uniqueness from the rest of the group.
