The only two teams I know about are the Long Beach Armada and the Orange County Flyers. I don't know if they are any good but it's still a fun game to go watch.

the Long Beach Armada are touting a Japanese player this season. I've never heard of him so don't know if he really is famous or not. Also, a few years back, Jose Conseco played with the Armada. They play at Blair Field at Recreation Park (same place Cal State Long Beach plays).

The Orange County Flyers play at Cal State Fullerton.

i don't be responsive to California geography o.k., yet there's a single-a point California League with 10 communities - i'm specific a minimum of a few of those are in Southern CA. a pair communities in the self sustaining Golden Baseball League are additionally in Southern CA.

Here are some minor league teams in southern California. None of them are in LA, but they're not too far.

I've been to all four of these stadiums and they're all great. Cheap tickets, cheap food, all seats are great, fun environment, and the players actually hustle (unlike in MLB).

closest one outside of LA is in Rancho Cucamonga which is east of LA. About 45 to 55 miles depending on what part of LA. Here is their website and the California League website
